Bubbly, fun, and positively wonderful to be around, Kaitlyn was a dream to work with. This senior portrait session was one of my first photoshoots in Vero Beach and getting to explore my new surroundings with such a sweet senior was a treat! This shoot actually doubled as a couple shoot, with Kaitlyn's boyfriend Jack stepping in and out of photos. To see the couple's photoshoot gallery, please click here.
Vero Beach has a ton of amazing photo spots I'm excited to explore, but the Riverside Park oak trees were definitely at the top of my list. Hanging around these giants gave a real sense of calm as we walked from one to another, posing along the way.
Kaitlyn was a natural in front of the camera. She was also a total trooper because this shoot actually happened in December, and Vero got down to a historic 32 degrees this morning! We had a sweater ready for her to snuggle into in between shots, and she absolutely rocked it.
We eventually made our way to the beach side of beachside and ended up at the Vero Beach Pier. It was a fun change of pace to go from the calmly swaying oaks to the crashing waves and beach breeze, and it made for a completely different unique set of senior photos. This part of the shoot catered more towards the couple side of the morning. They were easily some of the most romantic photos I've taken, so definitely take a second to go check those photos out.
This shoot only has me more excited about what is to come from photography in Vero Beach, but for now, I will be putting Riverside Park and the pier down as two of my favorite locations already. They were such a short drive from each other and the difference in scenery inspired fun outfit changes and a completely different approach to posing.
